Contract Administrator - 13338

The Contract Administrator will assist the Contracts team (within BlackLine’s Legal team) and will work in a cross-functional capacity to successfully manage customer contract data inflow and outflow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand, communicate and reinforce the contract process and procedures
  • Assist in maintaining the standard legal templates approved for use (e.g. NDA, MSA, SLA, Order Form, CPA, APA, etc.)
  • Compare agreements signed by customers with BlackLine’s final clean versions for discrepancies prior to final execution
  • Assist in the post-signature processes
  • Input contracts and related data into BlackLine’s contract lifecycle management solution (CLM)
  • Help develop, drive and implement process improvements for BlackLine’s new CLM and other contract management systems
  • Maintain and provide contract records/data for cross-functional purposes
  • Partner with internal customers to ensure commercial contract data conforms to BlackLine requirements and policies
  • Research, locate and analysis of pending and historical customer deals within Salesforce, CLM, and other systems
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contract data requested
  • Cross train on other functions to provide back up support to other Contracts Administrators and Specialists
  • Work on projects as needed and other requests as assigned by Manager

Qualifications:
  • Experience working with legal, sales, and sales operations teams, including senior leaders within those functions
  • Knowledge of and experience with SaaS technology contract provisions, including Data Processing Agreements
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Conga/Apttus or other CLM a plus
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Strong propensity to learn new software programs/systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Highly detail-orientated and strong results-orientated with a dedicated client focus
  • Outstanding communication (verbal/written) skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines in fast-paced environment, prioritize workflow and adjust to frequent workload fluctuations
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Paralegal, MBA, or relevant advanced degree
  • 5 years minimum of relevant experience in a legal/contracting department
