Job Summary

The Package Delivery Team Lead is responsible for Implementing BlackLine’s customers on its solutions. The role also provides subject matter expertise on BlackLine products, as well as technical configurations. Assist with new employee onboarding and training, as well as ongoing training, creating internal documentation, and process improvement.

The Package Delivery Team Lead will report to the Manager, Services Package Delivery who reports to the VP of Global Services who reports to the Chief Customer Officer.

 

Duties

  • Engage with a diverse portfolio of customers to execute implementations of multiple concurrent projects
  • Effectively provides product and process support to Implementation consultants to meet team and department goals.
  • Possess and utilize a strong functional and technical knowledge of the BlackLine standard products (Account Reconciliation, Tasks, Variance, Matching) and how it integrates with the other products
  • Possess and utilize a strong understanding of the MAP package delivery implementation methodology and is able to offer support team members
  • Provide training support, and mentoring to team members
  • Supports revenue targets managing multiple concurrent implementation projects.
  • Function as primary client and partner contact for questions regarding software functionality and best practices throughout the implementation phase
  • Ability to provide recommendations and best practices to clients on how to implement the standard BlackLine products and MAP methodology

 

Required Qualifications

Years of Experience in Related Field: 3+ years of experience working within a global organization, Technology industry preferred

Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to oversee small groups of new hires for onboarding and mentoring
  • Advanced language skills (English required; other languages preferred) to communicate fluently in a professional environment with an international customer base
  • Demonstrated experience communicating and presenting to a diverse set of people across groups and organizational levels
  • Demonstrated experience in managing implementation projects
  • Knowledge and experience of accounting terminology and processes (e.g. month-end close process, reconciliations)
  • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, Salesforce, Accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong technical problem-solving skills
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Ability to lead, own and manage a project
  • Ability to prioritize with competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in Consulting Services, Client Services and/or Professional Services environment
  • Previous Team Lead experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in other foreign languages (in addition to English) is a plus
  • Accounting degree preferred
  • Software background preferred
  • Previous experience documenting Business Requirements for software development and technical specifications
  • Experience working for an SAAS company
