Environmental Sustainability

We create workplace environments with people in mind.

We are dedicated to developing spaces that promote health and fitness for our employees. We provide inclusionary facilities such as all-gender restrooms, wellness rooms for meditation and prayer, and healthy snack and beverage options. BlackLine also offers a hybrid work program where employees can choose to perform their work at home, the workplace, or just about anywhere.

We make workplace site selection decisions with the environment in mind.

When selecting a site for a new workplace, we prioritize community-enriching amenities that are within walking distance of the selected site. We seek building operators that demonstrate their commitment to ESG goals. In addition, we look for buildings that achieve high green building standards such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL, and Green Mark.

Social Responsibility

At BlackLine, we are committed to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. Our connections with one another are what give us purpose. We hold ourselves accountable for diversity, equity, and inclusion—supporting each other as we innovate.

Social Responsibility

We give back to the community.

Giving back to our community is part of our culture. We partner with charities to provide volunteering experiences that bring together BlackLine employees, partners, and clients. BlackLine matches employee donations to human services-focused charities and provides opportunities to give back through virtual and in-person volunteer opportunities.

We support employee health and wellbeing so our people can thrive.

We take care of BlackLiners with competitive compensation, comprehensive health benefits for BlackLiners and their families, extensive career and personal development training, and a wide range of learning opportunities. We also offer unlimited paid time off, a flexible remote work environment, and dedicated programs to support mental and physical health and wellness.

We are proud of the strong relationships we’ve built with our suppliers.

Our procurement program delivers quality and value for our customers, and reflects our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. In 2022, we began a formal supplier diversity program that focuses on creating opportunities for underrepresented vendors who share our values of excellence, service, and social responsibility.

We define underrepresented suppliers as small businesses (as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration) and businesses that are at least 51% owned and operated by people in one or more of the following communities:

• Disabled • LGBTQ • Minority • Veteran • Women
