BlackLine Quarterly
BlackLine continues to expand our technology partnerships to bring cutting-edge capabilities and world-class services to our clients. Recently, we’ve announced two exciting developments to enhance your experience as you move to the cloud and plan or continue your finance transformation journey with BlackLine.
BlackLine has proudly delivered finance and accounting automation solutions to Microsoft Dynamics GP customers for some time. Announced in November 2021, we’re now excited to bring enhanced automation and financial operations management to Microsoft Dynamics 365 customers.
Together, BlackLine and Microsoft are delivering greater customer value through enhanced connectivity and integration. Mel Zeledon, senior vice president of channels and alliances at BlackLine, highlights the impact of the partnership with Microsoft. “Through our collaboration with Microsoft, we seek to help finance and accounting teams at midsize companies and large organizations gain control over their financial close, intercompany accounting, accounts receivable, and other key processes for the office of the controller.”
With this partnership, enterprise and midsize Dynamics 365 Finance customers can benefit from the power of BlackLine’s unified platform for finance controls and automation within a single user interface.
In addition to this partnership, be on the lookout later this year as we introduce our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Connector, which will offer enhanced control and visibility into the movement of data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 to BlackLine.
The result? True data compatibility and greater accuracy—all with less burden on IT resources.
The Connector securely transmits the most up-to date information, automatically retrieving GL account balances and transactions and formatting the data into BlackLine’s specifications to be imported. With simple out-of-the-box implementation, you can immediately realize the Connector’s benefits:
Increase efficiency and accelerate time to value by bringing your Microsoft data into BlackLine for automated reconciliation and approval
Reduce your organization’s risk by avoiding formula and formatting errors that are common with manual data entry and manipulation
Avoid change management issues, as customizations can be driven by end users, ensuring business user control, ease of managing, and adapting to change
Our newest partnership with Google Cloud, announced in February 2022, will help companies on their digital finance transformation and modern accounting journeys with enhanced speed and security. Enabling successful digital transformations by freeing up resources and unifying ERP data
