SCOTTSMIRACLE-GRO FEATURED WITH BLACKLINE IN SAP ROUNDTABLE AT SAPPHIRE® NOW

LOS ANGELES – May 20, 2016 – The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company (NYSE: SMG) presented alongside BlackLine and SAP (NYSE: SAP) on the transformation of finance and accounting (F&A) in a roundtable session this week at SAPPHIRE® NOW and the ASUG Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. Laurel Johns, manager, Finance Consolidation & Controls at ScottsMiracle-Gro, shared the company’s journey transforming its F&A processes using the BlackLine Financial Close Suite for SAP® Solutions, an SAP-endorsed business solution.

Throughout the session, Ms. Johns highlighted the ease of integration with SAP solutions, as well as the key benefits and ROI the $3 billion public company has realized since using the BlackLine suite on a global basis. Attendees of the by-invitation only interactive session heard first-hand about the selection process, implementation, lessons learned and key successes since implementing the BlackLine suite alongside SAP software.
