If your engagement with BlackLine involves providing contractor resources, your company will be required to complete a Contractor Attestation as part of the onboarding process.
This requirement helps ensure that all individuals performing work on behalf of BlackLine meet our security and compliance standards.
You may be required to provide a Contractor Attestation if your engagement includes individuals who:
Perform work as contractors supporting BlackLine
Require access to BlackLine systems, tools, or environments
Require credentials such as Single Sign-On (SSO) or Active Directory (AD) access
BlackLine may notify you during the intake process if your engagement is expected to meet these criteria.
If your company is awarded business, the following will apply:
One Form Per Contractor
A separate Contractor Attestation must be completed for each individual contractor performing work for BlackLine.
Background Screening Confirmation
The attestation requires your company to confirm:
Required background checks have been completed for the contractor
The date the screening was completed
The results are clear of negative findings
Please note:
Do not submit or attach actual background check reports.
If your engagement moves forward:
A contract will be executed and a purchase order issued
You will be asked to complete a Contractor Attestation for each contractor
Completed forms must be submitted to your BlackLine contact and [email protected]
Each contractor must be documented individually before they can begin work, particularly if access to systems or sensitive information is required.
Vendors are expected to:
Submit accurate and complete attestations for each contractor
Ensure all required background checks are completed before submission
Coordinate directly with their BlackLine contact for any follow-up
