CONTINUOUS ACCOUNTING AND MODERN FINANCE KEY TOPICS AT INTHEBLACK EMEA 2016

6th Annual BlackLine European User Conference to Feature Speakers from Achmea, Aker Solutions, British Gas, Bureau Veritas, Fiat Chrysler, PepsiCo and Unisys

LONDON and LOS ANGELES – June 7, 2016  Financial controls and automation software company BlackLine will host InTheBlack EMEA 2016, its sixth annual European User Conference, next week in London, home of the company’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) headquarters. The conference will feature speakers from BlackLine customers, including Achmea, Aker Solutions, British Gas, Bureau Veritas, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, PepsiCo and Unisys, with accounting and finance professionals sharing best practices learned in transforming their organization’s Finance & Accounting (F&A) processes using the BlackLine Finance Controls & Automation Platform.

A key theme for this year’s conference is Continuous Accounting, an advance over the traditional record-to-report process where real-time automation, controls and period-end tasks are embedded within day-to-day activities enabling companies to continually capture, validate and analyze financial data in a timely and precise manner.

Keynotes will be delivered by business and leadership speaker and renowned author Rene’ Carayol; Gilles Bonelli, practice leader, EPM and BI, The Hackett Group; and Gary Simon, CEO of FSN and leader of the Modern Finance Forum for CFOs at FSN.com.

Representatives from other BlackLine customer companies from around the world are registered to attend, joining BlackLine’s team of experts in London. As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to provide its EMEA customers with superior service, BlackLine has designed the two-day event as an interactive forum for attendees to share their ideas on how F&A can get the most value out of the BlackLine platform. Through a dual-track program, both new and experienced users will be given an opportunity to:

·Learn best practices from BlackLine’s team of experts and other clients

·Hear how experienced users from other regional companies creatively use BlackLine

·Preview upcoming software enhancements

·Directly influence the product direction going forward.

InTheBlack EMEA 2016 will be held Tuesday to Wednesday, 14-15 June, at Bishopsgate London. For more information, contact Howard Goldstein at howard.goldstein@blackline.com.
