We are outraged at the loss of life and the persistent unequal treatment of the Black community.  We at BlackLine stand with the Black Community against racism, systemic injustice, and police brutality.  

BlackLine was founded with two basic values: Serve our Employees and Serve our Customers. We are more committed than ever that BlackLine be a place of safety, inclusion, acceptance, and support for all.  How we treat one another – how we serve one another – is our foundation.

This is a call to action for each and every one of us to do better, to speak up, and to be part of the solution. Change doesn’t happen overnight, it begins in our hearts, our minds, and importantly, our actions. BlackLine is committed to supporting the fight against racial inequality and injustice today and until all Americans are protected by the law and their protections are fairly applied.  

We aspire to be better. We have begun a valuable dialogue within our organization. We are donating funds to causes which support racial justice, equality, and an inclusive society. We are providing opportunities for our employees to engage in a way they see fit to make a difference one person at a time. Lastly, we are accelerating our initiatives to better educate our team members on unconscious bias in the workplace.   

In a time when truth is hard to identify, when many aspects of society are trying to divide us all, we believe we have found a truth. This change is worth standing up for.
