GIVING BACK DAY
Volunteering is at the heart of BlackLine
After experiencing a full week of InTheBlack with industry peers, make plans to participate in a BlackLine tradition for our Giving Back Day. Each year, BlackLine works with local charities to provide a volunteering experience that brings together InTheBlack attendees for an important cause: to serve the communities.
On Thursday, September 19, join fellow BlackLine employees, partners, clients, and prospects for a community beautification project at Hollenbeck Middle School in downtown Los Angeles. General activities may include painting (rooms or murals), light construction (picnic tables or benches), and landscaping. Activities will likely range from lightly strenuous to strenuous. Please let us know onsite if you’d prefer a less strenuous activity.

HOW TO PLAN FOR GIVING BACK DAY
Plan your flight departure in the late afternoon or early evening so that you may obtain checked luggage and plan for airport transportation.
Each volunteer will be given a commemorative BlackLine Giving Back Day t-shirt. Plan to wear jeans and comfortable shoes. We may be outside for portions of the project, so depending on the weather, you may want to bring a sweatshirt as well.
To save your spot at this year’s Giving Back Day, RSVP while registering for InTheBlack.
