Job Summary
BlackLine is looking for a talented Video Producer to join our in-house creative team. The ideal candidate has deep experience with all facets of film and video production (5+ years working on set). They are capable of producing videos in a fast-paced environment. They love doing great work and being part of a fun, seasoned marketing creative team. They understand storytelling whether it is brand or instructional. They are highly organized and can manage all aspects of preproduction and post-production, and coordinate requests from various departments across the company.
Roles and Responsibility (list in order of importance)
DAY TO DAY DUTIES
A Video Producer for BlackLine will manage various aspects of video production, including:
- Interface with other departments within BlackLine to determine their needs and delivery timelines.
- Writing RFPs and gathering bids from all external contractors
- Executing all contracts for talent, crew, locations, rentals, music licensing, etc.
- Serving as the point on intake for new video project requests, including webinars, promos, non-marketing requests, customer videos, etc.
- Cast voiceover artist talent through sourcing, selection, and contracting.
- Collaborate with Executive Assistants to secure recording times for Executive Management Team
- Act as the on-set coordinator/production coordinator on shoot day, including coordination of talent arrival and amenities (food/bev, wifi, parking, etc.)
- Act as the primary point of contact for remote stakeholders, location manager, catering manager, etc.
- Coordinate with procurement and accounts payable to ensure vendors are paid on time and serve as a point of contact for payroll disputes
- Manage closed captioning services
- Act as the subject-matter expert on YouTube, Frame.io and Vidyard for facilitating client review and ad-hoc delivery of links to posted videos
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Years of Experience in Related Field: 5+ years working in video production (on set or in post-production)
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Video production experience from the entertainment industry is highly preferred.Experience working in Adobe Premiere Pro is not required, but a plus
Event experience is a plus as well, as the role will require working in close contact with our Events team to ensure that they have all assets required.
Working Conditions
This position will require travel up to 10% (mostly local but some occasional overnight)
This position may require the ability to stand, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
