Job Summary  

BlackLine is seeking a motivated accounting student to join the Corporate Accounting team as a General Ledger Accounting Intern.  The Corporate Accounting Team is responsible for performing daily accounting operations, supporting management and completing the month-end close process in a timely and accurate manner, while maintaining a stable control environment.   

Roles and Responsibility (list in order of importance)   

• Prepare journal entries (e.g. cash, prepaids) 
• Prepare month-end account reconciliations 
• Pull data and analysis to support quarter-end variance analysis 
• Assist with audit requests (e.g. provide support for control testing) 
• Provide administrative support and ad-hoc projects, as needed 

Required Qualifications  

Years of Experience in Related Field:  

Education: You must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate/graduate in Spring 2022. 

Other:  

• Ability to communicate well with others 
• Highly organized and detail oriented 
• Flexible and ability to multi-task effectively 
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook  

Working Conditions
