Through the New College Grad Software Engineer Program, be part of a dynamic and diverse team that engineers large-scale, complex, and resilient cloud technology solutions that drive our global Fintech. This program will help you take the lead in both solving scoped problems and contributing to projects while learning and growing within your team. This role is as much about learning as it is about doing and making an impact. We are looking for passionate university graduates that are excited to build awesome products and features, create visually rich experiences, spearhead the discovery problem, and pinpoint tomorrow’s engineering challenge as we maneuver through exponential growth and massive scale. 

About the Team: 

Our Software Engineering team is a collection of extremely passionate engineers who play a crucial role in delivering high-quality releases to our customers by designing, developing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and scaling our cloud-based services. They research, test, benchmark, and evaluate new technologies, collaborate with other teams to define and build new scalable features, and optimize existing features while writing elegant code. Few teams offer such amazing learning opportunities and possibilities for advancement as the BlackLine Engineering team. 

What you'll do: 

• Work with a team to deliver features and improve architecture  
• Own full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, and operating in production  
• Build solutions with an elevated level of reliability, scalability, and security  
• Demonstrate an ability to learn and adopt relevant innovative technologies, tools, methods, and processes to leverage in your solutions 

• Independently take ownership over the completion and quality of your tasks and project 

• Completing a degree in Computer Science or related technical field 
• Experience in previous software engineering internships 
• Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language such as C#, Java, or C++
• Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and REST APIs
• Team player, effective communication skills, and product sense 
• Passion for Blackline and the ability to manage ambiguity and continually learn from your experiences
