GRC Project Manager - 12815

The GRC Project Manager is responsible for coordinating service delivery and GRC program development from end to end in a continuous improvement, growth, SaaS environment.  The GRC Project Manager pairs project management duties with organizational expertise to refine processes and execute intake within the following categories: Operational Readiness, Project Support, Knowledge Management, Team Communication and Strategic Alignment.

 

Responsibilities:


OPERATIONAL READINESS

  • Improve Information Security Program definitions with direction from GRC Management
  • Mature the documentation of GRC-managed programs
  • Conduct daily intake on behalf of GRC programs
  • Publish Service Management Catalog items and deliver documentation through collaboration with Corporate IT teams via SharePoint/JIRA/Confluence
  • Deliver Information Security service definitions, SIPOCs, RACIs, OLAs and other deliverables to the company at large as needed
  • Conduct project management and resource coordination on behalf of GRC Management for operational programs
  • Leverage Agile and Scrum frameworks, as appropriate, to organize Information Security GRC work
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of multiple processes (e.g. intake and PM processes)
  • Participate pro-actively in improving Project Management processes and tools

PROJECT SUPPORT

  • Act as GRC Project Manager for ongoing projects, including creating and executing project plans, schedules and milestones, and assist in the escalation of identified issues
  • Collaborate with GRC and InfoSec team members to maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate efforts and conduct status updates
  • Act as the GRC PM point of contact and own the communication of project statuses to GRC and InfoSec Management
  • Ensure projects are delivered successfully, on time and within budget
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures for projects

TEAM COMMUNICATION

  • Promote effective internal and external communication, ensure transparency, and disseminate information appropriately (e.g. trainings/educations, metrics and executive reporting, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

  • Manage team communications and repositories on intranet resources (i.e. Confluence, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Improve/maintain organizational templates within the document repositories


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Business or Operational Management
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects in a technology-centric environment
  • Proven work experience as a Project or Program Manager in a similar role
  • Experience in project coordination and management, from conception to delivery
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Familiarity with PM concepts such as Agile, Lean, Scrum and Work Breakdown
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills, preferably in a big-four consulting setting or similar
  • Basic understanding of Information Security Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, and Audit Management
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, Visio

Preferred:

  • Prior Audit Management or Coordination experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of technical Information Security concepts a plus
  • Data analytics and reporting experience a plus
  • Knowledge Management experience a plus
  • Service Management experience a plus
  • PM certifications or related credentials a plus
  • CISSP knowledge is preferred, CISSP, CISA, CISM certifications are differentiators.
