Enterprise-class finance controls and automation software company founder joins Mayor of Los Angeles, executives from event host Cornerstone OnDemand, Invoca, Tealium and Wells Fargo on speaker line-up
LOS ANGELES – Dec. 8, 2014 – Therese Tucker, CEO and Founder of finance controls and automation software company BlackLine, has been invited to speak this week at the 2014 LA Tech Summit, an annual event hosted by locally based cloud HR software leader Cornerstone OnDemand and featuring keynote speaker Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.
Known historically for its reign as the entertainment capital of the world, Los Angeles (LA) is quickly gaining ground as one of the most rapidly growing technology ecosystems in the country. A breeding ground for many of the world’s most successful consumer technology and digital media companies, LA is often overlooked for the great enterprise businesses headquartered in the region. Ms. Tucker will participate on a panel amongst other leading local cloud B2B (business-to-business) software company CEOs to discuss the rise of the B2B technology industry locally, as well as what it takes to build a successful enterprise-class technology company in Southern California.
What: “Beyond Consumer: The Rise of B2B in Southern California”
When: Thursday, Dec. 11th, 2014, 3:10 p.m. PST
Where: J.W. Marriott at LA Live
Panel Moderator: Jason Maynard, equity research analyst, Wells Fargo

In 2013, BlackLine partnered with Silver Lake Sumeru, the mid-market arm of leading technology-focused global private equity firm Silver Lake, to do a recapitalization of the company and drive its next phase of growth. Ms.Tucker will draw on her experience from the Silver Lake deal, as well as from her overall experience in building BlackLine from the ground up into the leading provider of Enhanced Finance Controls and Automation (EFCA) software.
