Deloitte, Ernst & Young LLP, KPMG LLP, Resources Global Professionals, UHY Advisors to Host BlackLine Client Roundtables Across the Country
2-WEEK, 6-CITY TOUR IS 1ST LEG OF NATIONWIDE PROGRAM DESIGNED TO HELP CLIENTS GET THE MOST VALUE FROM THE BLACKLINE FINANCIAL CLOSE SOFTWARE SUITE
LOS ANGELES – March 21, 2012 – Demonstrating the strength of BlackLine’s relationships with the world’s top accounting industry advisors/consultancies, BlackLine Certified Implementation Professional firms Deloitte, Ernst & Young LLP, KPMG LLP, Resources Global Professionals and UHY Advisors will each host multiple BlackLine Client Roundtables in cities across the country, extending the financial software provider’s longstanding regional Roundtable program. A 2-week, 6-city tour beginning this week will include stops in Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Houston, Washington D.C. and New York City.
Spreadsheets can be full of hidden, costly mistakes. The BlackLine Financial Close Software Suite automates and virtually eliminates time-consuming, traditionally manual, spreadsheet-driven accounting processes for staff in finance and compliance departments in companies of all sizes.
In each city, a local BlackLine client will present a case study on the benefits and ROI realized using BlackLine. Multiple BlackLine Experts and consulting/implementation professionals will be on-hand to lead sessions on best practices for optimizing the account reconciliation and financial close processes. Accounting, finance, audit and compliance department executives from regional BlackLine client companies are expected to attend and share their experiences on new and creative uses of the software.
The BlackLine Client Roundtable program was developed to help clients get the most out of their BlackLine application by providing a forum to network with other users, share creative ideas, tips and best practices and hear from industry influencers and BlackLine Experts – all amongst an intimate group of like-minded professionals. The events in the next two weeks comprise just the first leg of an ongoing nationwide program. Additional Roundtables will be scheduled throughout the year, including cities such as Atlanta.
As at all BlackLine Client Roundtables, attendees will:
- Learn tips and best practices for optimizing the financial close
- See how other companies are utilizing BlackLine
- Have the opportunity to engage in a live Q&A with BlackLine Experts and industry advisors
- Gain a deeper understanding of the BlackLine application
- Enjoy networking and sharing ideas with other BlackLine users
- Receive CPE credits, as applicable
