BlackLine Systems Teams up with Toys for Tots, Loaves & Fishes to Help Those in Need this Holiday Season

LOS ANGELES – Dec. 21, 2011 – As part of its ongoing commitment to help others and give back to the community, financial software provider BlackLine Systems is teaming up this holiday season with the Pasadena, Calif. chapter of Toys for Tots and Van Nuys, Calif.-based Loaves & Fishes to provide needed toys and hygienic items to less fortunate children and families in Los Angeles.

BlackLine is working closely with several marines from the local Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to collect toys, books, games and sporting equipment for children who might not otherwise have gotten any gifts this year. In addition, BlackLine employees are helping assemble hygiene kits that will be distributed by Loaves & Fishes to those in need at the local food and clothing pantry.

BlackLine also will be making a monetary donation to each of the organizations.

The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is a not for profit organization authorized by the U.S. Marine Corps and the Department of Defense to provide fundraising and other necessary support for the annual Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Now in its 64th year, Toys for Tots provides joy and a message of hope to less fortunate children through the gift of a new toy or book during the holiday season.
