BlackLine Systems Takes Home Gold in Best in Biz Awards 2011
FINANCIAL CLOSE SOFTWARE PROVIDER HONORED FOR FAST GROWTH AS COMPANY CONTINUES TO EXPAND GLOBALLY
LOS ANGELES – Nov 10, 2011 – Financial software provider BlackLine Systems has been named the Gold winner in the ‘Fastest-Growing Company of the Year’ category in the Best in Biz Awards 2011 – the only national business awards program judged exclusively by members of the press and industry analyst communities.
BlackLine revenues were up by more than 50 percent in both 2009 and 2010. The company also is already recording strong growth in 2011, with its sales team closing nearly as many new deals in the first six months of 2011 alone as in the entire calendar year 2010. The 2009 growth follows three sequential previous years where the company’s revenues doubled.
BlackLine continues to add clients at an aggressive pace with a long list of global companies already on board including AT&T, Boeing, Costco, eBay and Northrop Grumman.
Best in Biz Awards recognizes top companies, teams, executives and products for their business success.
According to program coordinators, Best in Biz Awards 2011 entries were received from an “impressive array of public and private companies from a variety of industries, sectors and regions. The companies that won Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in this year’s program represent the best in American business.”
BlackLine attributes its success to a constant focus on client satisfaction, continuous product innovation and an increasing market demand from organizations looking to improve and streamline their account reconciliation and financial close processes.
Winners of Best in Biz Awards 2011 were determined by scores from a panel of high-caliber judges from top-tier business and technology publications, as well as analyst firms, including: Accounting Today, AllBusiness.com, ECT News Network, eWeek, Financial Times, Fox News, Insight Media, Kelsey Group, King Features Syndicate, Network World, PC Magazine, Techtalk and Wired. The 20 judges on this year’s panel boast more than 470 years of combined experience and have written for a combined total of more than 180 consumer, business, financial, trade and technology publications nationwide.
