Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Resources Global Professionals among 12 Top Consulting Firms

3 OF THE ‘BIG 4’ ATTEND PARTNER TRAINING PROGRAM DESIGNED TO ENSURE QUALITY, CONSISTENCY IN BLACKLINE CLIENT IMPLEMENTATIONS

Calabasas, Calif. – July 30, 2010 Financial software provider BlackLine Systems has launched a training program designed to give partners the necessary skills to implement BlackLine’s Financial Close Software Suite. The first multi-partner session of the “BlackLine Implementation Certification Program” was held last week in Los Angeles, with more than 50 people in attendance. The intensive 4-day course equips partners with the tools and knowledge needed to deliver the same level of world-class service that companies have come to expect from BlackLine.

Three of the ‘Big Four’ global accounting/consulting firms (Deloitte, Ernst & Young and KPMG) were among 12 organizations that sent representatives to last week’s training. International professional services giant Resources Global Professionals and leading Australia-based consultancy Agility Consulting Group also were among those that have earned the distinction of being BlackLine-Certified.

“BlackLine is fortunate to work with great partners who bring our account reconciliation and financial close software to some of the biggest and best companies in the world,” BlackLine CEO Therese Tucker said. “Software by itself doesn’t give a company a great close process. Our partners’ extensive experience in finance transformation provides tremendous value to our clients.”

BlackLine’s next multi-partner Implementation Certification course will be offered in November. In the interim, a number of consulting firms are working directly with BlackLine so that their consultants can achieve certification more quickly. At the end of training, all participants are required to take an exam before being granted BlackLine Implementation Certification status. Those who pass are issued an official certificate of competency.
