Calabasas, Calif. – May 11, 2010 – Financial software provider BlackLine Systems will host its first-ever Southeast Client Roundtable with partner UHY Advisors designed to give clients in the region a venue to discuss how technology and automation can improve their financial close and reporting processes.
Roundtable discussion topics will focus on the importance of financial close optimization and accurate reporting in today’s tough economic climate.
Brad Baer and Juergen Myers, principals of BlackLine’s partner UHY Advisors, will open the discussion, leading a session titled “Lean Back Office, Improving the Efficiency and Effectiveness of a Finance Organization.”
Long-time BlackLine customer Tammie Coley, director of accounting at Cox Communications, will share unique ways she uses BlackLine to streamline Cox’s month-end close and ensure proper procedures are in place to gain visibility and control over the entire financial close process.
The BlackLine Southeast Client Roundtable will be a half-day event, from 7:30 a.m. to noon, on Tuesday, May 11, at UHY’s offices in downtown Atlanta. Accounting, finance and compliance executives from local BlackLine client companies, including Cox are registered to attend.
Attendees will be eligible for CPE (continuing professional education) credits through UHY, which is an American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)-certified training provider.
