22 KPMG Consultants Achieve ‘BlackLine Implementation Certification’ through Private Training Course at the ‘Big 4’ Firm’s Offices in Atlanta

Calabasas, Calif. – Aug. 3, 2010 22 consultants from global professional services giant KPMG have now earned the distinction of being “BlackLine-Certified,” having successfully completed a rigorous training course led by a team of BlackLine experts at the ‘Big 4’ firm’s offices in Atlanta. The “BlackLine Implementation Certification Program” is designed to give practitioners like KPMG the skills, tools and knowledge necessary to facilitate implementation of the BlackLine Financial Close Software Suite and deliver the level of world-class service BlackLine clients have come to expect.

“Through this training, we received an enhanced and technical level of understanding of BlackLine’s product suite and are now better able to assist multiple clients looking to deploy finance governance technologies,” KPMG Managing Director Hakan Aytekin said. “In addition, being the first firm to have ‘BlackLine-Certified’ resources helps us further enhance the credibility we have with our clients.”

The private session at KPMG was part of a series of practitioner implementation courses that BlackLine offers. Training sessions typically span an intensive 3-day course agenda. At the end of training, all participants are required to take a test before being granted BlackLine Implementation Certification. Those who pass are issued an official certificate of competency.

“BlackLine is fortunate to work with great consulting firms such as KPMG who bring our account reconciliation and financial close software to some of the biggest and best companies in the world,” BlackLine CEO Therese Tucker said. “Software by itself doesn’t give a company a great close process. Their extensive experience in finance transformation provides tremendous value to our clients.”
