Calabasas, Calif. - Jan. 12, 2009 - Financial software provider BlackLine Systems has established local operations in Sydney, Australia to address the growing demand for the company’s flagship account reconciliation and financial close software from global companies and companies in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. APAC customers already using BlackLine software include Kimberly-Clark Australia and OneSteel.
“We’ve seen increasing demand for our software from large, global organizations,” said Therese Tucker, CEO, BlackLine Systems. “Having a presence in the APAC region was a logical next step from both a market opportunity standpoint but also in terms of being better equipped to serve our customers.”
BlackLine will have sales and customer service/support staffing in Sydney beginning immediately. Going forward, BlackLine expects to add training and implementation services for the region in the near future.
“BlackLine sees significant growth opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Dominick DiPaolo, VP of Global Sales for BlackLine. “Having an office in the APAC region allows us to increase the level of service we already offer our enthusiastic customer base, as well as expand the marketplace for our financial close offering.”
