Calabasas, Calif. - July 16, 2009 - Therese Tucker, CEO and founder of financial software provider BlackLine Systems, has been named CEO of the Year for Women in Business by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal (SFVBJ). The SFVBJ Women in Business Awards honor outstanding achievements made by local business women. The eighth annual awards were presented yesterday at a luncheon at the Airtel Plaza Hotel in Van Nuys.

Ms. Tucker was recognized by the SFVBJ for her accomplishments in building BlackLine from the ground up into a profitable entity – doubling in revenues in each of the past two years. Under Tucker’s leadership, BlackLine also doubled its head count in 2008, providing new jobs in the local community.
