BlackLine Systems CEO Named A 2009 Finalist For Prestigious Ernst & Young Los Angeles Area Entrepreneur Of The Year Award
FINANCIAL SOFTWARE PROVIDER FOUNDER THERESE TUCKER RECOGNIZED FOR EXTRAORDINARY ACCOMPLISHMENTS, CONTRIBUTIONS TO COMMUNITY
Calabasas, Calif. - May 19, 2009 - Therese Tucker, CEO and founder of financial software provider BlackLine Systems, has been named a 2009 Finalist for a prestigious Ernst & Young LLP (E&Y) Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in the Greater Los Angeles Region.
Ms. Tucker has been recognized by Ernst & Young LLP for her accomplishments in building BlackLine from the ground up into a profitable entity – doubling in revenues in each of the past two years.
According to E&Y, the awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Tucker was selected as a finalist from nearly 60 nominations by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on Tuesday, June 23, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards program celebrates its 23rd anniversary this year. The program has expanded to recognize business leaders in over 135 cities in 50 countries throughout the world.
Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year national program.
