BlackLine provides simple, secure and automated tools for connecting to our Financial Close Suite application from any other system, including general ledgers, sub-ledgers, banks or other systems containing data companies would like to manage in BlackLine OnDemand.

The system is truly agnostic – we support files from any single system, from multiple systems in use and from third parties on your behalf. This includes Oracle, SAP and NetSuite, to name a few. In addition, for companies with multiple systems and complex needs, we can connect with any number of general ledger systems simultaneously, resolving many of the issues associated with consolidating data across systems.

No IT Required

The system is simple and doesn’t require IT resources to get up and running. It uses standard file transfer protocol technology that is commonly available on most workstations and servers.

Configurable

The system can be configured to meet your unique needs. Plus, many processes can be automated. In most cases, you can transfer a regularly created data file from your systems to ours with a simple schedule. The system alerts you if a transmission fails and provides details to help you troubleshoot any issues.

BlackLine partner SAP reviews the process and certifies that it is accurate and works properly. As a client of BlackLine, you can choose between multiple levels of connection security. We only transmit and store your private data in encrypted files, so you can rest assured knowing your data is safe.
