Giving Back to the Community

We have so much to be thankful for in our daily lives. We have jobs and homes and clothing, and rarely miss a meal. It’s important to remember that we are where we are and have what we have by grace alone. We could have easily been born with less intelligence, no access to education and not enough food to allow our brains to fully develop.

Each year before our annual User Conference, BlackLine sponsors a community event, where our employees, clients and partners have an opportunity to give back. In the past, we’ve built houses for Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans, landscaped and painted low-income homes in Las Vegas and carefully prepared food for the homeless at GLIDE in San Francisco. You can clearly see the joy in giving below in the photos taken at these events.

In addition to our annual events, our employees participate and volunteer for a variety of fundraisers and organizations, including Toys for Tots, Loaves and Fishes, various shelters, food banks and many different charity organizations. Service and volunteering have become an essential element of what it means to be a “BlackLiner.”
