BlackLine’s Transaction Matching module is a state-of-the art matching engine with powerful, configurable rules-driven matching for transactional level reconciliations.

Transaction Matching supports the following:

• Automatic data  imports from any source, in any format, on a schedule,
• Flexible, rules-driven “match sets” to allow any type of matching, across other functional areas,
• Sophisticated exception handling including email alerts, case creation, seamless flow into period end reconciliations, and journal entries,
• High volumes – BlackLine’s matching engine easily handles tens of millions of transactions in each pass.

All of BlackLine’s modules are part of a single cohesive application.  This means that communications between Transaction Matching are seamless and part of the original design.  Unmatched transactions can easily create reconciling items that are part of an account reconciliation.  Incorrect transactions can link to their correcting journals.
